About Us

More Than a Shop — We're Your Neighbors

Amego Tire Shop has been a staple on Elm Street for over a decade, and that's no accident. We built this business the old-fashioned way: by showing up, doing the job right, and treating every person who drives through our bay like someone we'd actually want to help.

"Amego" means friend — and that's the standard we hold ourselves to. Whether you're a student needing a reliable car to get to campus, a parent shuttling kids around Iberia Parish, or a commuter on Highway 90, we give you the same honest advice we'd give our own family.

Why Choose Us

What Makes Amego Different

Big shops sell you parts. We sell you peace of mind. Here's what our neighbors keep coming back for.

01

Always the Right Fix

We never upsell. If your brakes need new pads, we'll tell you. If they're fine, we'll say that too. You deserve the truth, not a longer work order.

02

Pricing You Can Trust

Clear estimates before any work starts. No surprise charges, no "while we're under there" add-ons. What we quote is what you pay.

03

Quality Parts, Fair Prices

We use reputable brands and OEM-quality parts — never the cheapest junk that fails in a month. Your safety is worth doing it right.

04

We Treat You Like Family

You're not a ticket number here. We remember your name, your car, and what's been bothering you last time. That's just how we roll.

Testimonials

What Our Customers Say

Real words from real neighbors who trust us with their cars — and their families' safety.

"I've been bringing my truck here for three years now. They've never tried to sell me something I didn't need, and they always get me in and out fast. That's rare."

Marcus D. New Iberia, LA

"My check engine light came on and I was terrified of getting ripped off. These guys diagnosed it in 20 minutes, showed me what was wrong, and charged a fair price. Now I only go here."

Jennifer L. New Iberia, LA

"Stopped in on a Saturday with a flat tire and they got me rolling before lunch. Friendly folks, clean shop, and they even checked my other tires for free. Highly recommend!"
